Holiday Trip Part 4(end) -- Taiping Lake 太平湖

续前一篇，我们准备回家咯。我们选择南北大道为归家的路。路上车辆越来越多。尤其是休息站。我相信是因为假期快结束了， 大家都赶着回工作岗位。

Continue from previous post, we prepare to go back home. We choose to use North South Highway.  On the way, we found that more and more cars on the road, especially the rest stop. I guess everybody is rushing back to start working as the holiday end soon.

 既然休息站这么多人，我们决定到怡保吃午餐。由于没准备所以根本不知道在怡保要吃些什么，结果我爸选了北马食物（我们来自北马啊！！）

Since there are a lot of people at the rest stop, therefore we decide to take our lunch at Ipoh.  We did not prepare any information about Ipoh so we do not know what to eat, at the end my father choose a northern food of Malaysia (we from northern part of Malaysia!!)

看了菜单，许多槟城食物，经由老板介绍，我们点了炒果条 (RM 4.00)，槟城叻沙 (RM 3.00)， 米粉汤(RM 4.50) 及滑蛋河（炒河粉）(RM 5.50)。 炒果条很有火喉，够味道。 叻沙是道地的槟城叻沙。 米粉汤就比较普通。滑蛋河 很香， 也很够味。大致上食物时不错的。饮料我们点了冰奶茶 (RM 1.60)，冰沙梨水(RM 2.00)及橙水(RM2.00)。

至于店的地点，我不是很知道。 之记得出了高速公路，往城市的方向去，就在麦当劳旁的店屋后面。

After looking at the menu, we found that a lot of Penang foods.  After intro by the shop owner, we ordered Char Kuey Teow (RM 4.00), Penang Laksa (RM 3.00), Mee Hoon Soup (RM 4.50) and Hua Tan Hor (Char Ho Fun) (RM 5.50). Char Kuey Teao is tasty. Laksa is really same taste as Penang. The Mee Hoon Soup just normal and the Hua Tan Hor is tasty too. Over all the food is not bad. For drinks we ordered Iced Milk Tea (RM 1.60), Iced Ambra (RM 2.00) and Orange (RM2.00).

About the actual location of the shop i not very sure. I just remember after exit the highway, follow the direction to the city, it just located behind the shop lots beside the Mc Donalds.

吃饱后，准备往太平去咯。这次不走高速公路了。继续享受风景。

After our lunch, heading to Taiping. This time not using highway again.

 

 

 

终于我们到了太平湖。这是我的目的地。 由于时间关系，我们并没有绕湖走，也没有试小船。
船只的费用为
渡船 -- 成人RM4， 小孩RM3
天鹅船（两人） -- RM10 （30 分钟）（加多个小孩需多RM2）
舢舨（可容纳4人） -- RM10 （两人60分钟）（另加一人需多RM4）

Finally we reach Taiping lake, this is the destination I want to go. As short of time, we did not round the lake and did not try any boat ride.
For the boat fees,
Ferry -- Adult RM4, Kid RM3
Swan Boat (for 2 person) -- RM10 (30 min) (can add 1 kid for extra RM2)
Sampan (can accommodate up to 4 person) -- RM10 (for 2 person 60 min) (addition 1 person extra RM4)

最后在太平湖旁的咖啡店解决晚餐就回家。
At the end, we took our dinner a the coffee shop beside the Taiping lake before we go home.
