趁着这国庆与马来新年的长假， 决定来个小小的旅行。这次的行程是槟城--邦戈岛 -- 安顺--巴生-- 太平。Planning a short trip on the Merdeka day and Raya holiday, the trip is Penang – Pangkor Island – Teluk Intan – Klang – Taiping.
We start our journey early 6am in the morning of 30th August 2011. The sky still dark and the weather are nice. We use the North South Highway to start our journey. We took our breakfast at the rest stop along the highway. We exit at Changkat Jering and get into the way to Pangkor Island.
一路上，我们看见许多油棕园。我们也见到许多马来路边档，但都没营业因这天是马来新年的第一天。九点钟左右， 我们到达了红土坎(Lumut)。
由于是公共假期，码头到处是人潮。要找个停车位也有点困难。那儿的多层停车场已满，我们只好停在路边的停车位。停车费RM3一整天。
On the way, we saw a lot of oil palm trees. We also saw a lot of Malay road side store, but all of them not opening for business due to today are the first day of the Raya holiday. Around 9am we reach Lumut Jetty, the jetty which will lead us to Pangkor Island.
Due to public holiday, the jetty is full of people. It is hardly for us to find a single parking lot. The multiple car parks is full, therefore we need to park at the parking lot along the road side. It cost us RM3 per day.
我们需要从红土坎码头乘坐渡船到达邦戈岛。船费是一个人来回RM10。 船航行时间由早上7时至晚上9时。平均每30分钟会有一趟。渡船的时间是40分钟左右。
The fee is RM10 per person round trip. The schedule for the boat is from 7am till 9pm. Average 30 minutes there will be a boat depart and the traveling time is around 40 min per trip.
船只在航行时并不很摇晃，但会晕船的朋友多准备比较好。
There are few types of boat, some can let the passenger walk out to see the sea view but some can’t.
While the boat is moving, it is not very shaky, but for those people who will nausea better be prepared.
经过40分钟左右，终于到达了邦戈岛。一到岸就可以感觉到那朴素的气氛。下了船，在码头那儿会有很多人来问要不要租车或电单车。租车的先生说由于是公共假期，所以所剩的车辆不多，租金也稍微涨了些。
汽车的租金为RM100三小时。电单车就RM50，可用至下午时分。如果人数多的话，可考虑租用7人车。
After 40 minutes traveling on the boat finally we reach Pangkor Island. Once you reach you can feel the plain of the island. When we get off the boat, a lot of people come and asking anybody need car rent. The guy who renting the car saying due to public holiday, there are not much car left and the rental will be increased.
For renting a car will cost you RM100 for 3 hours. Motor cycle will be RM50 until afternoon. If you have a lot of people, you may consider renting a 7 seat van.
租车先生给我们一个小小的地图，介绍我们岛上的旅游胜地。第一站我们到福临宫。福临宫据说十分灵验，有许多善男信女都会前来问事求签。
除此以外，福临宫最大的特色是以中国长城为蓝本的迷你长城。
The car rental guy gives us a mini map and introduce us the tourist attraction of the island to us. The first stop we visit is ‘Fu Lin Kong’. ‘Fu Lin Kong’ is a Chinese temple which people believe it is very efficacious. A lot of people will come to pray and ask for fortune.
Other than this, ‘Fu Lin Kong’ also famous with the mini great wall of China which imitate the real great wall of China.

过后我们到附近的沙爹工厂海成兴去买些土产与手信。
After this we visit the satay factory nearby to buy some indigenous and souvenirs.
购物后我们开始往沙滩去。路途上我们看见一个瞭望塔。于是停下车往里头看看。
这是个很好的概念，可以让游客们观望海，但是马来西亚一贯的问题就是没有维持与保养。塔顶以开始破裂。看向海的方向的草丛没有修剪，人们根本就开始看不到海了。这有点违背建这塔的目的。
After bought the indigenous and souvenirs, we start our journey to the beach. On the way, we saw a small tower. We stop by and take a look.
This is a great idea for people to have chance to view the sea, but the major problem facing in Malaysia is maintenance. There is always no maintenance after building anything. The top of the tower start breaking. The bushes grow around and blocking the view of the sea. This a bit defeated the purpose of building this tower.
终于我们到达了海边。清澈见底的海水，绿色的海草，白白的沙滩。
海边附近有几个小岛，可以租用小船到小岛走走。
附近也有许多小档口，售卖些小食与纪念品。
Finally we reach the beach, a clean and clear beach with white sand and green seaweed.
Nearby, there are some small islands; you can rent a small boat so that you can pay a visit to those islands.
A long the street nearby the beach have a lot of store which selling foods and souvenir.
荷兰古堡，一个类似马六甲古堡的地方。古堡范围并不大，只残留一些围墙而已。
从码头到这荷兰古堡需经过弯弯曲曲的小路及马来村。如果驾车的话要非常小心。
Dutch Fort, a place which a bit looks like Malacca. The fort is not big, just few walls and bricks left.
From the jetty to the Dutch Fort will need to pass by a small malay village with a winding road. If you driving a car better watch out and drive carefully.
我们的行程于邦戈岛就此结束。我们大约花了3小时于这行程。当我们回到了码头还看见不少人往岛里来。
如果你喜欢海，建议你可以逗留在岛上久一些或者过一夜。那儿的旅店都会有提供些海上活动。
Here comes to the end of my visit to Pangkor Island. It took me around 3 hours. When we back to the jetty, we saw there still a lot of people coming in.
Too bad we did not stay over night here. For those who like sea, can consider to have a stay as most of the resort will provide some sea activities.
总结，邦戈岛是个适合休闲的地方。一个脱离城市生活的地方。别期望有任何的电子娱乐。好好放松来享受大自然。
As a summary, Pangkor Island is a nice place for relax and stay out of the city living style. Don’t hope there will any digital entertainment. Just relax yourself and enjoy the nature.
