很快的，又是新的一年了。送旧迎新，把龙年给送走，迎来了蛇年。

如往年一般，庙会又来咯。
这可是我连续的五年出席此庙会！

Year by year, here comes another brand new year. Go the Dragon year, come the Snake year. 

As usual, the Chinese New Year Cultural and Celebration is coming~

This is my 5th year of  continues attending this event!

2012 Georgetown World Heritage Site Celebration 乔治市入世遗周年庆典

七月七日， 乔治市入世遗周年庆典。在这一天，乔治市将会有许多精彩的活动与表演以示庆祝。

7th July -- Georgetown World Heritage Site Celebration is a day to celebrate Georgetown Penang as World Heritage Site by UNESC. On this day, there will a lot of activities and performance around Georgetown. 

A UNESCO World Heritage Site is a place (such as a forest, mountain, lake, desert, monument, building, complex, or city) that is listed by the UNESCO as for special cultural or physical significance.  Wiki

2012 Penang CNY Cultural and Heritage Celebration (prepost) 槟城街头文化庙会（预告篇）

一年一度的槟城庆典 -- 槟城街头文化庙会又将到来啦。今年此庆典将在一月二十九日（农历正月初七）下午三时开始至午夜十二时。有兴趣的朋友不要错过哦。

Penang CNY Cultural and Heritage Celebration for year 2012 is coming soon. This year, the event falls on 29th Jan 2012. It will start from 3pm until 12am. Don't miss the chance!!

Pesta Pulau Pinang 2011 槟城同乐会2011

一年一度的槟城同乐会又开始啦。每年的十二月会是这男女老幼都适合的同乐会开放的日子。平时，这片土地将会出租于其他用途。

 

Pesta Pulau Pinang starts again. It is a funfair which will have in Penang on December every year. At normal day the location will rent out for other purpose. 

Logo's Hope 望道号

望道号是艘世界上最大的海上书店。由德国的慈善机构GBA组织经营。这次它来到了槟城，不可错过哦。

Logo’s Hope is the largest floating book fair which operated by the German charitable organization GBA.  Now she come to Penang, don’t miss it.

Little Penang Street Market -- Upper Penang Road

每个月的最后一个星期天， 槟城律源头(Upper Penang Road) 会有个街市。从上午十时至下午五时。

Every last Sunday of a month, there will be a street market at Upper Penang Road. Start from 10 am to 5pm.

Happy Fun Park -- Queensbay Mall

每年的七月左右，皇后广场旁的草场会有个游乐场。这对我们来说将会是个小小的娱乐。虽然没有很多的游戏，但它还是吸引了不少人。你会看到许多结伴成群的年轻人， 也有带着孩子们的家长。


Every year around July, the Happy Fun Park will start at the field beside Queensbay Mall.  It will become a small entertainment for us during this time. Although it did not have a lot of games, but it still attract a lot of people to pay a visit. You can see a lot of youngest go there in a group.  Some of the parents also bring their little kids to take a look.

Botanical Garden Penang 槟城植物公园

听说植物公园会有个迷你演奏会，所以打算去看看。

Heard that there will be a mini performance at Penang Botanical Garden. Therefore I plan to go there take a look.

Bon Odori Penang 2011 槟城 盆舞节（盆踊り） 2011

一年一度的槟城日本盆舞节又到来了。
Penang Bon Odori again~

日本盆舞节（Bon Odori，日本人称之为‘盆踊’），又称日本鬼节，源自日本人祭祖先忆亡魂。
这节日的主要目的是敬奉及欢迎先人灵魂的归来,然后一起相聚与共舞。因此舞蹈是此节日的重头戏。
如今，这项节日已演变成日本人维系文化情感的欢娱日子。

Bon Odori (known as 盆踊り in Japanese), is a festival which to remember their ancestors and welcome their soul and having dance together. Therefore the traditional dance is important.
Today, this festival has become one of the way to maintain the cultural feelings.

Transformers 变形金刚 at Queensbay Mall

本月最热话题之一， 变形金刚。一部期待已久的电影。在这儿我不打算谈这部电影而是介绍在皇后广场举行的变形金刚展览。虽然这不是第一次了，但它还是吸引我。One of the most hits topic at this month is Transformers. A long waited movie.  I not going to talk about this movie here. I just going to intro the Expo at Queensbay Mall. Although this is not the first time Transformers Expo been held at QB but it still attract me to pay a visit.

2011 Penang CNY Cultural and Heritage Celebration 槟城街头文化庙会

 
槟城街头文化庙会, 是一年一度的槟城庆典。每一年将在农历新年期间举行。在这一天，乔治市将被浓浓的文化气息所包围。

Penang CNY Cultural and Heritage Celebration will held every year in Penang during Chinese New Year. You can feel the cultural diversity around you.

Waterfall at Botanical Garden Penang 槟城植物公园的瀑布

世界水日通常介于三月至四月之间。 在这段时间，槟城植物公园禁区里的瀑布将会开放于公众人士。这禁区属于槟州水务局的 （PBA - Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang)。 我借此机会参观了这特别的地方。

World Water Day which will be at between March and April. During this period the waterfall which at the restricted area in Botanical Garden Penang will be open for public. This restricted area is under Penang State Water Provider company (PBA).  I have taken this chance to take a look on this special place.
